Die Band wurde 1965 von Gitarrist Rudolf Schenker und Schlagzeuger Wolfgang Dziony gegründet. Klaus Meine (Klaus Meine, the voice of Scorpions) und Rudolfs Bruder Michael Schenker kamen später hinzu. Heute leider nicht mehr in dieser Besetzung!
